As part of his residency at Festival Number 6 Joe

joined forces with Temples for a special 4 song finale

to their main stage set. Rehesals took place in

Portmeirion Town Hall. The No. 6 Ensemble was

joined by guest soloist Thomas Gould.

"Saturday is all about Temples of course. We head

over to the Main Stage to find the anticipation of

something a little special about to occur. Seated on

the stage is a string section and harp player (part of

the “No. 6 Ensemble”), and what enfolds enraptures

all within its reach. Adding a soaring rich texture to the

band’s already lush sonic explorations, the confident

renditions of the shivers-down-the-spine, melodic

escalation of ‘Colours To Life’ and the shimmering

glow of ‘Move With The Season’ takes the band to a

new level of assurance. Finishing with an ecstatic

‘Mesmerise’ the band confirm both their place in the

major league, and their ability to hit new peaks in what

has been a triumphant ascendancy for them."
