St Anthony: An Ode to Anthony H Wilson is a

collaboration between Mike Garry and Joe Duddell.

Honouring the infamous Factory Records and

Hacienda boss, the poem is a touching tribute to Tony,

set to music by Joe. On the first read Joe immediately

heard elements of You Silent Face by New Order and

set about writing an arrangement for strings and


St Anthony was released on Skinny Dog Records on

14th Aug and featured artwork by Peter Saville and a

remix by Andrew Weatherall. It debuted at No. 1 in the

Official Charts for physical sales, vinyl sales and

Breakthrough Indie Single. All profits from the project

being donated to The Christie Charitable Fund. The

accompanying video is testament to the love and

respect for Wilson that continues after his death. It

features the likes of Steve Coogan, Bernard Sumner,

Iggy Pop, Shaun Ryder and Christopher Ecclestone to

name but a few.
